Favorites of 2006!

Here is a list of some of my favorite music from yet another year gone by:

I absolutely love the album "Koop Islands"! Yukimi Nagano has such an amazing voice. She could not have found better musicians to collaborate with! I wish this album would receive the attention it deserves over here in California. KCRW is the only radio station to realize the great music Koop has to offer! I hope to see Koop in concert if they come to California but until then I will just enjoy their songs on my iPod =) There were definitely many more releases that I enjoyed this year but the list above is all that comes to mind right now.
