Keeping busy....

Wow, it has already been one week since my last post. My lack of posting is not because I forgot or can't find anything worthy of posting, it is due to my new promotion at work. So I do not feel as though I have been slacking on my initiation into the blog world, I am just getting a slow start. =)
I work at Albertson's which is a major grocery store chain in the Western U. S. I read somewhere that Albertson's is nationwide but I'm not really sure. I have been employed there for over 5 years which is a really long time considering I am only 21 years old. This is definitely not my dream job that I love so much and I want to make my career but it has given me a lot of experience and extensive knowledge about the business end of retail shopping. I want to start a blog about Albertson's so I can write about all the unbelievable
I have worked in almost every department at my store with positions including courtesy clerk, checker, customer service center/lobby and I have helped out in the service deli and meat department. I think customer service/lobby is my least favorite but in reality all of the departments suck because you have to deal with customers every second of your entire shift and I am so over jumping at every customer's demand. It is rare that a position where customer contact is minimal opens up but last week I was lucky enough to get promoted to scan coordinator where I will enjoy the task of hanging all the price tags and confirming all the products in my store are scanning correctly. My new hours consist of 3am to 12pm and 12am to 8am shifts. So far I really like my new job duties but I am still adjusting to my new sleep schedule.
